Mandisa, I wanted to share with you that I have found two of your songs in the last two weeks that have ment so much to me. Here is my back ground.
May 3, 2012 we found out that my husbands dad had terminal cancer. This summer I have spent a lot of time with my mother-in-law helping take care of my father-in-law. One day I decided that I was going to start walking to improve my health. I started downloading songs on to my phone and “JUST CRY” AND “YOU WOULDN’T CRY” have became my two favorite songs. At first, I did not know why I downloaded them… but in the last 4 weeks I found out why. It was my father-in-laws why to get me through his passing. On August 2nd, my husband was admitted to the hospital in Atlanta for an undertermined illness and he stayed in the hospital until Tuesday August 7th. I was driving back and forth from Rome GA to Atlanta Ga. On the 7th while I was driving from Rome to Atlanta, I recieved a phone call from my brother-in-law letting me know that “grandpaw” had taken a turn for the worse. After getting my husband out of the hospital, we traved to Alabama the next day. On the 8th while in Alabama with “grandpaw” I knew deep down that he would not be with us long. I remember the song “YOU WOULDN’T CRY” and I listened to the song over and over again. I knew that this song would get me through this time. To know that there will be no more pain, sorrow or tears just give me a JOY inside knowing that “grandpa” is not in pain anymore.
    THANK FOR THOSE SONGS….
I will be attending the WOF conference in Atlanta in September. I look forward to seeing you! I would love for you to sing this song for me at some point during the two days. I would really love to get to meet you! LOOKING FORWARD TO SEPTEMBER 22 & 23!!!!!
