I read your story today and boy, am I glad I did, and I commend you for being true to your convictions. Before today, I had never heard of you, but I was sincerely touched by your voice and your messages of the Savior. I support businesses that provide value, real value to my family, which lead me to purchase this album. I support those who champion Christian values as you have done so beautifully with the gifts which God has blessed you in abundance!

I read your story and was moved by the statements “submerging myself into an environment that celebrates those things was risky for me at this time” and “Perhaps being alone with Him as my name was announced was protecting myself from where my flesh would have tried to drag me had I been up on that stage.” It’s a constant battle to protect ourselves but we have to always work to “filter” what enters otherwise this world, so full of bad things, will drag us down. Keep fighting the good fight. You will be in my prayers.

Mandisa, i read why you didn’t go and i think you are awesome i also read where Natalie Grant got up and left. From what i have seen on the news i can see why i don’t watch those programs because they have gotten so trashy. I use to love to watch and see who won what but it is really bad with the stuff on there now and i refuse to watch that trash. i pray for those young people who think they have to act like that to be somebody it breaks my heart. But when you are so young with that kind of money and power and no leadership what can you expect. There again i know they could care less whether i watch because everyone has a choice to what they want to watch thank God. But i think we as Christians need to take a stand for our Lord and say as for me and my house we will serve the Lord. I just want to say i love you and i pray for protection for you. You stay just the way you are you are such a good role model for young Christians. Thank you for being who you are!!!!!

Thank you for choosing to follow what you felt called to do instead of worrying what others think, for protecting your relationship with Him! It is a blessing and an inspiration!
